Welcome to Day 4!

 Arguably (definitely) my least favorite part of business and the most boring by a long shot.

 Foundational Systems.

 Look… it’s not sexy.. It’s not fun… but they are necessary.

 We are going to do an easy and digestible rundown to get you set up with payment processors (you will need an LLC for this… if you don’t have one yet you can create one here) 

 If you really don’t want to make one.. Okay… I just recommend doing it. You can still accept payments like a barbarian through venmo, paypal, crypto etc.

 We will cover payment processing, contracts, community apps, messaging, application forms etc. 

I recommend using something simple like google forms to start with a free application Questions to add:

 - Name/Age

-  Occupation

- Email/phone number

- Which of these best describe your main struggle? (list 4 choices for them based on what you help people with)

-What is your number 1 goal you wish to achieve over the next year ? (we are future pacing them to be with you for a year)

-What made you decide to reach out for support?

Keep it simple to start. Stay attentive so you can reach out to people as soon as possible after they submit an application. (the sooner the better)

 Message to send them:

“ hey jake!”   ← purposefully lower case because it feels more “natural”

 “This is Nick Komodina” send

 *just got your application for X, do you have time for a quick phone call?”

(Send them in 3 different lines instead of one long text. This makes you feel more like a friend and less like an automated message.)

 Payment processors, we really have two main options I recommend:

-Stripe

-Wave 

I’ve also taken the liberty of being super awesome and attached a basics covering contract agreement for you all. Make sure you always call it an “agreement” and never a “contract” … agreement sounds much less intense for people.
